Work Shops

NCES hosts multiple workshops year round at local and territorial events and in partnership with local centres, and businesses.

If you would like to participate in a workshop, follow our Facebook and Instagram to find out where, when and how to sign up!

This is your chance to be creative! Learn traditional shapes, recognize traditional designs, and understand why art was made in first nations culture.

Workshops Include:

Carving

Painting

Drawing Traditional Form Lines

Beading

Sewing

Jewelry and Tool making

We always encourage and are open to taking ideas for future workshops! All workshops are open to the public. We are dedicated to reconnecting youth with culture. If you would like to host or lead a workshop, contact us at assistant@northernculture.org, or call our phone 867-633-4186
