Jessica VanBibber


Jessica VanBibber, citizen of Champagne and Aishihik First Nation, was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, and raised between Whitehorse and Pelly Crossing, Yukon. She is of Selkirk First Nation and Northern Tutchone decent.

Taking visual art classes in high school captured Jessica’s attention diverting her to the Carving Program within Northern Cultural Expressions Society. As a participant, Jessica has had the opportunity to engage with advanced carvers and in workshops such as knife making, soapberry spoon and much more.

Jessica wants to continue to keep the traditions flowing into the next generations.
